The 'gateway' to the Sportwelt Amade is just 6 minutes drive from the hotel, providing hotel guests with a wealth of skiing opportunity. There is a full ski bus service operating in the winter season from directly outside the hotel.
The hotel is on the main road down from Germany and Holland to Italy, providing much passing Summer trade. There is also a large 'Gasthof' sign on the roof of the hotel which is visible from the motorway.
